I was in Düsseldorf for work and wanted to try out as many Korean restaurants as possible because I really like to eat Korean. Unfortunately I have to say that the Chimac Plus was the worst of them all. I had sundubu that just wasn't good in taste. In other restaurants it was sometimes really a real taste explosion and here I had to force myself to finish it. Well below the level of other Koreans, really. It is a mystery to me why some people were there where there are so many better alternatives. Too bad. I have now attached a photo - you can see how loveless that was. I would love to attach pictures from other restaurants where I had the same food - it was visually and tastefully a difference like day and night. I find it sad that such a restaurant still holds up and that there are still people who eat there. I will definitely not go there again.
When it comes to chicken, this is the first thing I thought of. I thought that business hours are also normal business hours, so I made a lot of phone calls for order reservations, but I would apologize for that. ㅠㅠ I missed this chicken flavor so much that I wanted to eat it, so I called infinitely. I ate it a little while ago, but this chicken was too delicious for my taste! Seasoning and soy sauce are strongly recommended for takeout! If I could have eaten in the store, I would have ordered a fried food, but I am very sorry that I couldn't feel the crunchiness due to the severity of the corona. I really want to recommend it! If there is one regrettable thing, I saw a lot of menus on the Internet and ordered them afterwards, but when I went directly to the store, there was Sacheon Mara Chicken? It may be because I haven't found it, but if there's something like a real new menu, I'd like to update the menu on the website. I'm leaving 5 stars!!
Sorry but for me this is the bad Asia restaurant in Germany !! We eat lukewarm to cold reserved, when I explained this, I was looked at strangely. Never again!!!!
I would love to not give a star. The food looked good, but it wasn't. It is unreasonable for the waiter to drip drops of sweat onto the serviette. Just gross. You could also see that every time he brushed his sweaty hair away with his bare hand. He also drilled his ear with pleasure with his finger .. We had a good look at the counter and washing hands is apparently overrated (but of course several times to point out to register). For extra cheese you pay + 2 € and it is not even pointed out. We also found a hair in food. It simply cannot be the case that you hire staff who do not even speak German. When it comes to complaints, there is only mumbling and nothing is understood. It was our first and last visit there.
The fried chicken is good, and the tofu pork pot is good.
There are better ones in Düsseldorf. Service was rather unfriendly
The food was delicious and the portions big enough. The staff was nice. The atmosphere was okay and the furnishings were simple but adequate. Delicious Korean food and drinks
Best flavor of fried chicken I’ve eat in most of Korea restaurants. Recommend to try. The owner lacks of passion but I still come a lot for its taste.
Bad service, bad food and rude people. All the waitresses won't speak English and act like we as tourist should know German and speak German. The waitresses were rude, especially the tall skinny Korean woman. Very rushy and impatient. The chicken we got was horrible. Re fried like 3-5 times and we got only big pieces of bad chicken parts. Look at the photo. Don't waste your money and time at this restaurant. The worst Korean restaurant in Dusseldorf. Go to Binbimcup, it's very close. You will be actually treated good and get better food.
A delicious restaurant, but the amount of food is very little and not saturated, the chicken is very delicious I recommend it, also the cold yuzu juice is refreshing and very tasty, what I like the most is the soy sauce extract I hope to visit it in the future when the amount of food increases in the meal
never again will there be much better ones in Düsseldorf, waited a long time to order, service was not the friendliest and in the end you should have your own food a packing is not possible, never experienced anything like that ... !!! and price light now also not so cheap for some dishes. !!
Very friendly staff. The 짬뽕 is super spicy but SO good. The chicken is great, too, though I have to say German chickens are pretty big compared to what you usually get in Korea, so the meat can be a little tough ?
Chicken was always delicious. Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably decreased. 60% bone / cartilage is not reasonable.
Get a table quickly by phone and food is prepared quickly. You shouldn't overestimate yourself when it comes to the sharpness. It's a bit expensive but definitely worth it.
The staff are very friendly and I ate Bonesal Chicken (half seasoning, soy sauce) and it was really delicious! ?????? Sehr nettes Personal und so leckeres Chicken (Süss-Scharf Soße und Soyasoße) ??????
This place is amazing. Had a fantastic beef bibimbap for lunch. Ordered takeaway and it was ready in about 6 minutes. Tasted amazing, good quality a large portion with a very good amount of meat too. Staff were nice and friendly too. The restaurant looked clean and tidy.
Loved it. Food was very tasty and the service was excellent. Very kind staff. Will come again.
There is a serious problem with the restaurant's ordering mechanism. I booked a table in advance and got a response from the staff! The reservation is successful! ! When I got there I was told they wouldn't take the reservation? ! ? ! What does my reservation mean? If I can't make a reservation, why do I have to report that the reservation is successful? Is the Korean employee named Park a ghost who answered me? Why should the customer bear your fault? The mood of the whole day was ruined. A restaurant that is crazy about money.
Outstanding good cuisine, where you always see a lot of Koreans, which for me is a clear quality feature in a Korean restaurant. I also got to know and love Chimac through a Korean friend.
The food is okay, ordered fried chicken with soysauce flavor and sweet spicy flavor. The soysauce flavor is quite surprising and i would go for a second try. The sweet spicy flavor which is the iconic korean flavor is very disappointing... The most dissapointing overall would be the service... The waitress is very impatient and even somehow rude, if you are not familiar to the menu then you will for sure feel the unfriendliness from the waitress or she is just unfriendly to asian coustomers?? cause general asian reasons...not sure, but no matter how im not impressed. For the food maybe worth a go if you have no other choices, but dont worth a trip if you really want korean food, there are better choices.
The fried chicken is ? I will be back just for that, as a matter of fact. No problem with the staff or anything else whatsoever.
Literally the worst Korean restaurant I've ever experienced in Dusseldorf so far. I ordered a take away and when I got home to try the food, it was by far most disappointing. The chicken was so hard that it hurt my jaws to chew them! I gave up eating the food after I had a couple of bites. Threw them all away. There are other restaurants with much better Korean style chicken in Germany. I would never recommend this restaurant. I'm sure they can do much better than this.
Incredibly tasty. If you like Korean food or want to try it, you should definitely stop by here. Super dear service, nice location and authentic.
Super delicious Korean food at good prices. We will be back ;-D
Me and my friends are visitors since this restaurant first opened. The food here is really great and it never disappointed so far. But almost every time our visit there gets ruined by the waiters, especially the young female waitress with the glasses. She very rude and has an unfriendly attitude. I understand that, they have limited seats and are very stressed during the busy hours. But this is not an excuse to be rude towards your customers. The waitress seems to be annoyed by us staying there for "too long" (which is ridiculous, because it is a restaurant and not some fast food chain, if I pay overpriced food then at least I want to eat it in my own pace!!). She made us feel very uncomfortable during many visits. Even though we were always patient no matter how long it took them to serve us the food (and sometimes we even waited 40+ minutes, yet WE remained patient) We tend to come back there only because of the delicious food and tried not to focus on the rude behavior from the waitress. I think we came here 7-8 times, but every time she ruined our stay there. This time was the last time for sure! I really hope, that she will change her attitude, because apparently a lot of other customers had the same problem.
Very tasty food and extremely friendly staff. Ordered the Cheese Buldak which is one of the spiciest dishes on the menu. Despite a runny nose, watery eyes and a burning mouth, I ate the plate because it was so delicious ?. Prices are justified for the portions you get, I think.
Amazing fried chicken wings! Really love it!
The food, especially the chicken, was very good! Unfortunately the service staff was overwhelmed with the filled restaurant, so we waited a long time to order and then two drinks were not accepted. In addition, there was no question as to whether we needed anything else, such as filling up drinks. But they were all very friendly to us.
Korean style fried chicken. It’s not bad but also it’s not so good. Taste of Fried chicken is always different from the last visit.
This place is great, the food is delicious at a good price, the staff is very nice and the place also looks very nice.
On the way to the train station, I came to an area full of Japanese and Korean restaurants, many of which were very busy. There was still space in the Chimac Plus, a tiny, sparsely furnished snack bar. I really liked it there, the marinated and braised pork knuckles on lots of fresh vegetables sparked my curiosity about Korean food. Gracious service.
Small portions
When you come here for lunch. The precise is fine and you can eat a lot. So you’ll be satisfied. So I recommend you for lunch. But when you come here for dinner.the price is really expensive (maybe because of volume) and volume is a little bit too much (for me). I shared it with one friend. we cannot finished.? I feel like it’s for 3 people or 4 people. But depend on you how much are you eating. Taste is so so. But the stuff is really nice.?
I'll speak for the fried chicken, and the fried chicken only: amazing. Heavenly delicious until the last bite.
Everything is fine here, except for the price.
Huh
It make sense that they called as chicmac because they serve good fried chicken and beer but not the rest. If you want to fix your craving on Korean fried chicken, here is your to go restaurant. Otherwise, look for the other options.
The staff was really friendly! Thank you for that .. As for the food There was absolutely no flavor. The kimchi was the worst I have had and the sides were also lacking the flavor. Prices were a bit on the high side as well.
I’m very disappointed. I used to frequently visit Chimac before they moved their restaurant to the main street and renamed it to Chimac Plus. It was a small place with outstanding korean fried chicken. Well, yesterdays chicken was raw. Not medium or medium rare. Just plain raw.
The boneless chicken half spicy half sweet is one of the best meals I've ever had in a Korean restaurant. Wash it down with a Hite beer to enjoy a wonderful experience!
Really nice fusion Korean food. A pretty good amount of choices with decent prices. Chimac is a good place to come with a group of friends.
Excellent food, best fried chicken in town. I've been there many times and have never been disappointed by the food. I like the modern, minimalistic interior. Typical korean service - friendly, but rather reluctant, don't come here and expect western service. Don't be offended and too shy, just call the waiters over and they will gladly help you. Also go up to the counter to pay.
The food was good until my girlfriend had to spit out a piece of glass while eating and she hurt her throat a little bit with a scratch (it's what the doctor says). I complained about the glass in our food, but the small rude korean waitress with glasses treated us rude looking at me weird after I told her we won't pay for the rice where the piece of glass was in it. It ruined our Night. If you don't want to eat a piece of glass during eating and also get treated badly for it don't go to this restaurant. *they gave me the same food back after 15min , but we tossed it away anyway and that piece of glass hurt my girlfriends lung. A Big piece of freakin glass she almost swallowed it. Not professional at all. :) As you can see , the reply from the owner is just sad , they don't even realize what they did wrong.
The fried chicken once I ordered was over fried or fried twice, so it was basically uneatable. I stopped going to this restaurant because the Staff is very unkind and rude.
Delicious chicken ? not too sweet...not too spicy...no too boring. 맛있다
In Love with the Süß- Scharfe Chicken Wings ??? excellent as always
We were not very lucky because that day the staff was not really good. They placed me and my friend at the end of the restaurant (when there were very few people and tables free at the front) and did the same with all other "european" looking people, it was really rude. Like they wanted to hide us or something. Someone even said that they refused to sit at the end and they were not really happy to change it. Anyway. Service in general was not really attentive neither. Food was average, very oily and there are better korean restaurants in the neighborhood... Even the fried chicken wasn't so good and tasted mostly like oil. A bit disappointed to be honest and I'm not planning on coming back soon
The bibimpap is delicious and probably the best in town! Friendly personel and good service
Very disappointing experience. I've eaten here many times and the food is okay, but tonight I walked in at 9pm with a friend and ordered straight away. My friends order came after about 20 minutes, but then I had to ask about my dish 5 times and it didn't arrive until 10.30pm. My friend had already finished his meal, multiple tables who arrived after us had already eaten and left and I had to ask about my order 5 times before finally being told it was accidentally sent to another table... staff were apologetic, but after 5 reminders and a 1.5 hour wait the word "sorry" loses all meaning. I wasn't offered another drink whilst waiting and when the cheque came we were still charged full price. The food is good but we won't be returning.
Nice!
